The proposed Slieveacurry renewable energy development is located approximately 5 kilometres to the east of Miltown Malbay and approximately 7 kilometres to the south of Ennistymon Co. Clare. The purpose of this website is to inform the local community of this proposal. This development will provide a significant contribution to achieving the countries renewable energy targets and assist in reducing Ireland’s dependency on fossil fuels. The proposed development will generate direct and indirect local jobs and provide investment in the area through local authority rates / contributions and a community benefit fund will be made available to fund local initiatives as decided by the local community.
